San Francisco International Airport is redeveloping its Harvey Milk Terminal 1, built in the early 1960s, to meet the needs of modern travelers.
The US$2.4bn redevelopment includes construction of a pre-security concourse, a boarding area with access to 25 gates, and a mezzanine with connections to public transport. The terminal is expected to be fully operational by the second quarter of 2023.
