Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has announced that the reopening of its Panorama Terrace has been delayed due to unforeseen construction work.
The Panorama Terrace has been closed since March of this year due to work in and around Departure Hall 1 that will create more space and provide greater comfort for passengers. An essential part of this work is a new route to the Panorama Terrace.
As a result of unforeseen construction work – builders encountered pipes that have been impossible to divert, requiring a new design for the planned work – the process is taking longer than anticipated and the Panorama Terrace will now reopen at the end of the year.
