The Canadian Airports Council (CAC) has launched a new marketing initiative designed to promote the country’s airports and remind Canadians of some of the latest developments taking place around the country
Wonder Takes Flight is CAC’s latest bilingual marketing campaign, which will be featured online and in airports across Canada.
The campaign adverts aim to inspire and remind frequent travelers of the excitement of air travel, with video footage featuring heartwarming reactions from reunited loved ones, some artistic airport visuals and demonstrations of some of the latest technologies.
This is a new direction for CAC as previous campaigns referenced facts and figures and spoke about the positive economic impact airports have on local communities.
“We’re proud of Canada’s airports. They serve as a hub for business and technology, as well as the gateway to excitement and adventure,” said Sam Samaddar, airport director, Kelowna International Airport and chair, CAC.
“Through this campaign we hope to reignite frequent travelers’ enthusiasm for travel – whether it be for business, leisure or exploration.”
The campaign is supported by international and regional airports across Canada, with several donating on-site digital and print billboards, as well as their own social channels, to help promote the message.
Wonder Takes Flight will run on various platforms until June 2019.
