Sydney Airport in Australia is sponsoring the Sydney Fringe Festival for the fifth year in a row and will place advertisements in strategic positions throughout Terminal 1 (T1).
The festival, which runs throughout the month of September, features 300 events showcasing more than 1,600 artists at 50 venues across Sydney’s Inner West district and the CBD.
Kerrie Mather, managing director and CEO for Sydney Airport, said, “We’re proud to support the local Inner West community and drive tourism to Sydney through our partnership with the Sydney Fringe Festival.
“Sydney Airport is the gateway to Australia, welcoming 39 million passengers a year, so it’s fitting that we’re sponsoring this fun and exciting festival which celebrates cultural diversity.
“We’re also pleased to be a Presenting Partner of the Sydney Fringe Festival’s Kids Program, providing free and ticketed events for local families at Marrickville Town Hall.”

We will be transforming the historic Marrickville Town Hall into an indoor wonderland with thanks to our friends at Sydney Airport. There will be a multitude of shows on offer including Lah Lah’s Big Live Band, The Vegetable Plot, a rad 80s kids disco, and so much more.”
The Sydney Fringe Festival is now in its sixth year and is the largest independent arts festival in the state of New South Wales, attracting an audience of more than 50,000 people. Its program features theatre, music, comedy, visual art, film, cabaret, musical theatre, dance, circus, literature and poetry.
