Safran Identity & Security unveils facial recognition solution at Passenger Terminal Expo

safran identity & security morphoface passenger terminal world expoSafran Identity & Security has showcased MorphoFACE, its new face acquisition solution, at this year’s Passenger Terminal Expo in Amsterdam.

MorphoFACE is available to private and public organizations, with particular efficiency at helping airports and border checkpoints deal with the increasing number of travelers by providing a fast and secure biometric solution for face capture and matching.

The non-intrusive solution features only fixed components and can capture a wide range of sizes and profiles more quickly than conventional solutions, which must be mechanically adjusted before use.

Samuel Fringant, executive vice president for security division at Safran Identity & Security, commented, “In a globalized world where airports and border checkpoints are vital hubs, we believe that ‘on the move’ biometrics will play a key role in securing borders, while reducing wait times and improving travel experience.

“With our offer, we are proud to contribute to make our borders safer and smarter.”

MorphoFACE can be integrated into existing environments including e-gates, self-bag-drop systems and kiosks. Find out more at Stand 10060 at Passenger Terminal Expo from March 14-16.
