Identity crisis?
Japan’s Immigration Bureau recently put a new fingerprinting and photographing device on public display at Narita International Airport showing off the new hardware that will be used to collect the fingerprints and scan the faces of the estimated 5 to 6 million foreigners that enter the country each year. Hiro Noguchi, of operations and airport services for All Nippon Airways at Narita Airport in Japan, explains the challenges surrounding introduction of this technology.
